We review room sizes, building orientation, occupancy and internal heat sources. For replacement projects, the survey also helps identify existing equipment, access and installation constraints before a solution is proposed.

Heat-load calculations use the survey information to establish the required cooling capacity. Occupancy, lighting, appliances, insulation and glazing all affect the result; floor area alone does not determine the right unit size.

Equipment, air distribution and controls are selected around the cooling load and building layout. Explore wall splits, ducted splits and Daikin VRV systems, then discuss which approach fits your project.

Project drawings set out equipment positions, duct routes and service connections. Consultant coordination and any required approvals are addressed according to the scope and requirements of the project.

Installation brings together the selected units, ductwork where required, refrigerant piping, drainage and electrical connections. The agreed scope and site conditions determine how the work is planned.

Checks cover the installed system’s operation, airflow, refrigerant circuit and electrical connections. Commissioning settings are established for the selected equipment and design requirements before handover.
